The Fund Our Schools campaign has been created by the leaders of the Toronto & York Region Labour Council, Toronto Education Workers (CUPE 4400), Elementary Teachers of Toronto (ETT), OSSTF Toronto, York Catholic Teachers, ETFO York Region, and Toronto Elementary Catholic Teachers (TECT).  This is in collaboration with democratically elected school board trustees from various school boards including those from Toronto public and Toronto Catholic. 

The vision held by all parties is that our publicly-funded education system – regardless of which school board – is well-funded and adequately resourced to support our students to achieve success.  This includes providing resources to teachers and education workers to help their students achieve their success.  Chronic underfunding has eroded the infrastructure within schools for staff and students to do their best.
